I’ve been noticing a lot of limited beliefs holding couples back from the elopement or small wedding experience they really, truly want. .
I’ve seen people limit themselves to what is “normal,” easy, or convenient in their elopements, anniversaries, and proposals. And to be honest, it BUMS. ME. OUT.
Why are we afraid to do things OR think things that feel beyond our reach? Why do we limit ourselves? Who told us our goals were “too much“ and aspirations were “too big”?
Enough is enough.
I want you to think of the “holy shit we could never…” place or activity whether it’s for an elopement or an anniversary or even a proposal!

Kate here! I’m your adventure wedding and adventure elopement photographer, home-based in Atlanta, GA, but always on the move!
I’m a seasoned US and international traveler (16 countries to date), a lifetime outdoor nerd and sporto, 12+ years of commercial photography, gobs of years running large projects in the corporate world, and other fun random life skills make me an incredible guide to nearly every adventure you could come up with.
I do 3 main things for all of my eloping couples:
The first is I am an adventure wedding photography expert.
Not only do I have previously mentioned 12+ years of experience photographing people, places, and, LOTS of different things, lol. So, my experience and skills gained and fine tuned in real life experiences over all this time allow me to capture beautiful images in nearly every type of location, weather conditions.
But more than that, I’ve been where YOU are at…
When my partner and I got engaged we had this dream of a desert adventure wedding but we ended up defaulting to the “practical wedding.” Our day was great, but I wish I had known then what I have learned since I niched waaaaaaay down into elopements in 2019:
Now I know what is possible.
I now know it is better to plan a wedding that speaks to who we are as a couple. Now, I know it is possible to accomplish the grand plan we had secretly been dreaming of.
So, I want to share all these insights with you so can know what I have learned! How do I do that?

With this as “part two” of wha I offer, I’m here to support you in nearly every way you need. You definitely don’t have to tackle your “big ideas“ alone, and as your location scout, activity and experience cultivator I can help build out your vision for something amazing. And, as vendor networker I know (or, am very skilled at finding!) the vendors and resources to help you deliver your vision.
The final thing I provide my couples is bravery and support.
I am here to supply that experience, give support and courage, and always gently remind you of your why. And 💯, NOTHING gives me more joy than seeing your faces doing the thing that you only ever dreamed of. Because I assure you it’s possible, and I’m in your corner!

As I shared above, I am not only a photographer but an elopement concierge, too! I often have a tendency to wear a bunch of other hats, too. Like, ordained officiant, floral design support, or rock climbing spotter. 😉
All of my photography packages come with:
+ Beautiful, fly-on-the-wall, candid experience-focused photography that captures your entire wedding experience. Those shots then become full-resolution digitals.
+ A gorgeous lay-flat album of your special adventure, PLUS, if you book 8+ hours of coverage with me, I include “Peacemakers”. These are 2 smaller versions of your album, perfect for sharing with your loved ones.
+ Gallery print shop credits to bring your images to life in prints and other GORGEOUS display pieces
+ Customized elopement concierge support I mentioned above (vetting vendors and locations, unique activities ideas, custom timeline, guide to licensing and legalities, building the adventure logistics, and being the best damn hype girl/”hug it out, it’s gonna be ok!” girl you could ask for ❤️ )
+ Ordained officiant sign-off if needed (and where it’s legal for me to do so!) at no cost

My open options for elopement dates in 2024 is filling up fast! (Unless you prefer a depths of winter wedding! 😜 )
SO, now is the time to be securing the dates (even rough dates) of when you think you want to adventure!

Honestly, it’s never too early, and I personally book couples up to 14 months in advance of the target elopement date. But, to be fair, that IS pretty early, and, I find most of my couples are booking an average of 4-6 months out of their elopement date or adventure wedding date. I’ve found that booking 6-8 months out of your elopement date is a great sweet spot 😊 .
BUT, booking early is CRITICAL if you want high demand places with permit limits like Moab-area, Great Smoky Mountains, Rocky Mtn National Park, or others, OR, if you’re eyeing up a amazing Airbnb type rental that books out way in advance.
So basically, as soon as you see a photog who you might want to work with, don’t be shy! Give them a call. This will help you get clarity on who you may enjoy working with (it matters!) so you can finalize your booking sooner than later for MAX flexibility!
