Wedding Options During COVID-19 to Marry Now, Not Later!

2020.  Yowzers.  To say it’s been complicated is, a gross understatement.  And to all of the couples who have been trying to explore wedding options during COVID-19 and then be able to plan the wedding during this time, it’s been insanely tough with starts and stops, and, changes galore.  And in the midst of it all, the frustration of WAITING.  Waiting to be able to just do this damn thing and marry your honey!

Finding a Way — Wedding Options During COVID-19 !

So in your search for solutions for how to get married during COVID-19 with all the uncertainty and challenges it brings, maybe you’ve seen the idea of eloping or info on how to elope pop up on Google.  And if you’re like a lot of folks, you probably had one of two thoughts:

  • “Wait.  What is an elopement?”

Or, maybe you thought,

  • “UGH, no, I don’t want to get married at the courthouse.”

But either way, you’re not wrong! 😉 What IS an elopement?  And, can you ONLY get married at a courthouse?!?!?  And the answer is no!

An elopement is a day that is un-apologetically all about YOU.

I get it.  A statement like the above probably begs the question of  “Well, aren’t all weddings supposed to be about what you as a couple want?”  And yes, while a traditional wedding may start out that way, an elopement truly keeps this sentiment as an unwavering core:

An Elopement is built to take you where you two want, doing what you want, and committing to each other in a way and with only the things that you want to be part of the experience.

Courthouse ceremonies are totally optional;-)  But what could your elopement look like and how does that work?  Keep reading below!

Flexible Wedding Options + You Two = a PERFECT Match!

So, as you look to reduce your guest list, and pivot quickly to meet potential COVID restrictions for your event, you know the changes aren’t want you wanted for that type of event and you don’t want to wait another year or more to get married!  So in that moment, I know it’ll feel hard to grasp, but you totally have options.  Elopements provide really great, flexible wedding options so unique and perfectly custom to you and your partner’s idea of the perfect day out that you’ll wonder why you ever wanted to be boxed in by a traditional wedding!  😉  And yes, you read that right! A day out!  😀 As an elopement photographer, my clients choose to adventure for their elopement for a full day, and some a full day or more!  As you read below, hopefully you can see why your elopement day deserves the same (or more!) photo coverage than you may have had planned for your traditional ceremony 🙂
